The Story Of Best Buy

Best Buy was founded in 1983 (formerly known as Sound of Music, which was founded in 1966). It is a consumer electronics retailer from the United States and has branches in Mexico and Canada currently. There are more than 1,150 stores in worldwide, and there are also branches in China and Europe, but they have already withdrawn in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

On the afternoon of May 9, local time, Best Buy announced the launch of a bran-new LOGO design. According to its press release, the brand’s remodeling was designed by its internal team.

The new LOGO is released from the company's huge yellow label that has been used for many years. The text "BEST BUY" will continue to appear in black bold sans serif, and the original yellow label will be reduced and placed in the lower right corner of the word mark. Its role is to inherit the brand genes and culture of Best Buy for many years, so that the past history and the upcoming tomorrow have a visual connection.

Best Buy said that this is the first time in nearly three decades that the brand identity has been updated. It is changed more modern and easier to read, especially in today's digital world.
